"What Eye Has Not Seen, Nor Ear Heard: Christian Worship As Eschatological Art"
by Rev. Dr. Don E. Saliers
Christian worship invites participants into the manifestation of the reign of God, both now and in the age to come. Making music, listening for God's Living Word, breaking bread, passing the cup, and offering mercies are some of the ways in which Christians are shaped into amici Dei, friends of God. This is the vision to which Prof. Saliers has dedicated his life and ministry. We are blessed to hear his reflections on the transformative power of Christian worship.
